When our attention is taken elsewhere (which is inevitable), without judgement, bringing it back to the present. It is about letting go of the past and the future, and just being.

Would you be shocked to know that you already have mindfulness within you? Mindfulness is awareness that comes to the forefront when we pay attention, with no judgement, to what is happening in the present moment. It is being thoughtful of where you are, what is happening. It is adopting a "beginners mind" not bringing past experiences or expectations into the present moment; but starting anew.

Change. It is not fun for many people. It creates anxiety, worry and even fear. It messes up our routine and inevitably takes away our sense of control. And let's face it, most of us LIKE control. We like the feeling of knowing what is happening and what is going to happen.
